A hike to Jamacho Gumba!

 Few months ago, we hiked to Jamacho Gumba in Shivapuri Nagarjuna National park, starting  from Fulbari Gate, which is easily reachable from Machhapokhari. 

The trail, about 4 Km long, was absolutely beautiful  with some steep uphill sections . We started at 8:30 Am at a very slow pace and took 4 hours to reach the Gumba.

Before that, we spent an hour enjoying the peaceful Rock Garden.It was saturday , so there were many groups hiking as it's a short and easy trail. The view  of Kathmandu valley from the Gumba was breathtaking! If you're planning a solo hike, this is the perfect choice.
